Just a few things that I am currently lusting over this week thought it would be fun to create looks with them :)
What about you guys, what are you lusting over?
Today is just a quick pairing post featuring the old navy "Americana Graphic Tee" to give you some inspirations on how to wear your favorite americana tees on this glorious day...
I wish you guys the best and thank you for your continued support, I love you all for it.
Since I had so much fun doing my Wardrobe Staple | The Blazer post I decided to make this a regular thing. I decided to include this segment on my blog for all the fashionistas on a budget like myself or anyone who might need a bit of inspiration on how to style certain pieces in your closet. I hope you'll enjoy these posts :) just like I will.
This time I decided to pick the oh! so wonderful LBD which is indispensable for me. I prefer my LBD to be simple but not boring, it's all about the cut and the fit for me. I tend to stay away from bodycon LBD's because depending on where I want to wear it to, it might be a little bit too sexy. But a skater LBD like the one below is perfect, since it is not super short it is appropriate for any occasion. In addition, a skater dress flatters almost any figure.
So if you're thinking about splurging on one, do it; just remember to pick one that is simple but not boring. It needs to be versatile enough so you can take it wherever you need to :)
I hope you guys like this post, please comment below to let me know what you think :)
I love blazers and over the years they have become a staple piece in my closet. They are my go-to pieces whenever I have no idea what to wear. I love how versatile they can be and how easy they are to style. They can be worn with dresses, skirts, jeans etc... I do have quite a few of them, but my favorite one to wear is thisvintage Dorothy Perkins blazer that I bought at a thrift store; and I wear it a bit too much. The reason is that it goes with almost everything in my closet, because it is a solid color, and because the cut is simple enough that it gives me that versatility where I can take it to church, school, work etc... So if you are thinking about investing in a blazer, especially if you are on a budget and/or buying your first one, it's important that you stick either to a neutral or solid colored one.
The cut is also an important factor, if you want to buy a blazer that is versatile enough that you can wear to go to different places; choose a cut that is simple, but is interesting enough to jazz up your outfit. And do not forget we all have different body types, so before you splurge on one, make sure you try on different ones to see which one fits you the best...
I hope this post has helped you and let me know if I have forgotten to include something.
Below is a few ideas on how to style one blazer in different ways, let me know how you style yours in the comment box below :)
